Sub.: TO CONDUCT SIX - WEEK CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SPORTS COACHING / SPORTS MANAGEMENT / FITNESS MANAGEMENT DURING 12^th MAY - 25^th JUNE 2020.

Department of Sports Management & Coaching of LNIPE, Gwalior is going to conduct Six-Week Certificate Course in Sports Coaching / Sports Management / Fitness Management during 12^th May — 25^th June 2020 at Gwalior. For men and women having flair for games, sports, fitness, management and working in district/school/colleges/university/industries etc.

The course in the following will be conducted subjected to administrative feasibility:-

1. Athletics
2. Badminton
3. Basketball
4. Cricket
5. Football
6. Handball
7. Hockey
8. Judo
9. Volleyball
10. Wrestling
11. Sports Management
12. Fitness Management

Application form may be obtained from the office of the Department of Sports Management & Coaching of LNIPE, or may be downloaded from the Institute website www.lnipe.edu.in

1. FEE PAYABLE:

Prescribed Fee with boarding lodging etc.:                        Rs. 19,500/-

Prescribed Fee without boarding loadging :                    Rs. 10,625/-

The fee shall be payable at the time of joining of the course by the selected candidates.

• ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Passed 10+2 examination/equivalent examination conducted by CBSE/ State or UT Board / Open School. Board.
Note:- (Preference will be given to the players, Physical Education Teacher, Social worker and sponsored candidate from Institute/organizations)

1. ADMISSION TEST

Admission to the certificate course will be granted on the basis of marks secured in the admission test.
Physical Fitness Test:-                                                                                                                  .         50 Marks
The Marks will be awarded in Physical Fitness on the basis of performance in 50 meters sprint, broad jump, over head back throw (medicine ball) and 1000 meters run/walk. Written Test:-            .          50 Marks General reasoning & Sports General Knowledge (Objective)
Skill Test: -                                                                                                                   50 Marks
In respective Game/Sports

1. DURATION OF THE COURSE: Six-Week (12^th May — 25^th June 2020)
2. AWARD OF 6 WEEK CERTIFICATE COURSE IN COACHING

A candidate shall be awarded 6 week certificate course in sports coaching/fitness management/ sports management coaching by the Institute on .successful completion of the course and having passed in both theory and practical separately by securing at least 50% marks in each subject/ practical.

The selected candidates will have to bring the following Items of uniform, sports equipment and clothing for use during the course.

1. Warm-up shoes, Game shoes, White socks, Vests, Track lower/trouser (for female candidates) and Track-suits, etc.
2. Institute will provide: T-Shirt-02 Nos. & Shorts- 01 No. The candidates selected for the course will have to bring Sports equipment required in the concerned game / Sports. The candidates selected for the course will have to bring personal bedding and clothing as per their requirement.

1. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION: Candidates desirous to get admission in Six-Week Certificate course are required to apply in the prescribed performa and enclose a demand draft on 200/- as application fee (non­refundable), State Bank of India drawn in favour of "The Registrar, LNIPE, Gwalior".
2. REJECTION OF APPLICATION: Incomplete applications, applications without attested copies of documents, applications received after the due date, application without the application fee of Rs. 200/- and the applications not certified by Registered medical practitioner will be rejected/not considered.
